Chocolate pumpkin cake
1 ½ cup flour
2/3 cocoa
2 teaspoons baking bowder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup buttermilk
1 cup pumpkin
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 ½ sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
3 eggs plus 1 yolk
375 for 35 minutes. Makes 2 8” round cakes
Fudgy Frosting
8 oz softened cream cheese
1 stick softened butter
3T milk
3 cups powdered sugar
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Beat until fluffy
I tried making the pumpkin bread and turned out really good. We LOVED it! I brought it to the activity at my church and they liked it too and they like the idea of the butter using the cookie cutter! I still haven't tried the sweet dinner rolls but I will let you know.
