It's February, and here on Whidbey Island, that means time to get your hummingbird feeders out!
We stocked up on sugar, and made our first batch of nectar for the year. We started small, but in a month or so I'll be going through a half gallon every 2 days!
Pour 1/2 cup of white sugar into a heat proof container. Add 2 cups of hot water. Stir until dissolved and let cool.
Add to your hummingbird feeder(s)
And we also found a pretty new suet holder for only $2, so we filled and hung that too for our feathered friends
Much prettier than our old one
