With autumn has come soup weather, and we've been making lots of dinner rolls to go with our soup.
This recipe has been a great success for me.
2 cups unbleached flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons of yeast
4 tablespoons softened butter
2 tablespoons honey
1 cup warm water
Knead together to make a soft dough. Let rise in a warm place for about 2 hours. (I let my bread machine do this part, on the "dough" setting)
Separate the dough into 12 balls, and place into a muffin tin (not necessary, but I like that it makes them perfectly shaped) or on a baking sheet.
Let rise about 1/2 an hour more.
Bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes.
