Beach Days

The heavens declare the glory of God;
         And the firmament shows His handiwork.

Psalm 1
Last night a neighbor called me to tell me she had seen a whale in the water behind our housing track, so i scooped one of my children out of the bath and rushed him to get dressed while I got the other 2 into the truck and we rushed off to see it!
It ended up being a Mama Gray whale and her baby! Right up close to us too! We watched for an hour and a half till the sun went down completely awe struck!
My favorite creature ever is the Orca and I WILL see one before we move from here! Abigail is currently obsessed with "Baby Beluga" and was ecstatic that "Baby Beluga’s cousin wave at me!".
Waving at us

Mama floating on her back

Today we couldn’t help but drive by on our way home from church and see if they were there again..
They weren’t but we decided to have an impromptu picnic and had a wonderful afternoon enjoying the SUN, and God’s creation. We saw a trio of bald eagles circling overhead, a red tailed hawk, some silly loons making tons of noise, and  grebes diving.

Peaceful

Treasures found
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;
         The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
 8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
         The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
 9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;
         The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
 10 More to be desired are they than gold,
         Yea, than much fine gold;
         Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
 11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
         And in keeping them there is great reward.
Psalm 19
