Jam Season

It is finally strawberry picking, peach peeling, jam making time!


The three kinds I make every year, 
strawberry, blackberry and peach
The Recipe:
5 cups granulated white sugar
4 cups fruit (diced peaches, sliced strawberries, crushed blackberries etc)
9 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
4 1/2 teaspoons Ball brand pectin
1/6 teaspoon butter to prevent foaming
Follow directions on pectin container.
