First a friend, and then Mark Hall highly recommended Choosing to SEE by Mary Beth Chapman, so I decided to check it out.
I admit Mary Beth's transparent, honest, gritty style is not at all what I normally gravitate towards. In fact the style normally leaves me feeling uncomfortable, but this book goes beyond that and truly speaks right into your soul. I now see why so many have said they were forever changed by this book. I was too!
With tears pouring down, I thanked God, hugged my children tighter. I mourned with the Chapman family and praised God that through it all He is Mighty and in control. My heart is truly forever changed.

ReplyDeleteA friend is taking me to a Steven Curtis Chapman concert in Feb. I'm so excited! After reading this book, I like his music so much more.
