Surrender

We will feel very much ashamed if we do not yield to Jesus the areas of our life He has asked for. It is a matter of will, not debate or reasoning; An absolute and irrevocable surrender of the will. An undue amount of thought and consideration for ourselves keeps us from making that decision. If we think seriously about the cost if we obey the call of Jesus, we tell God He doesn’t know what our obedience will cost. HE DOES! Shut out every other thought and determine to be absolutely and resolutely for Him and Him alone.
Before we chose to follow God’s will, a crisis must occur in our lives,  because we tend to be unresponsive to God’s gentler nudges…If a crisis has come to you on any front, surrender your will to Jesus absolutely and resolutely.

I truly have been in a time of crisis over these last few weeks. Wholeheartedly fighting God’s will for my life. He’s been speaking to me and guiding me steadily through it, though I chose to close my ears and heart and chose selfishly my own will. Lord, I pray that you would rescue me from my self. That you would help me to once again surrender my will to Jesus. ABSOLUTELY and IRREVOCABLY.
