We had a treasure chest (which Peter built from a kit, also from Michael’s) that we filled with gems, pirate stickers etc, and the guests were able to decorate their own pirate swords and ships.
We used some empty washing machine boxes from a friend and turned them into a pirate ship:
Peter painted his own pirate flag for the front porch
He made a foam ship from Michael’s as a centerpiece
