To receive God’s guidance, we must acknowledge God in all our ways. This means turning every area of our life over to Him. Make Him a vital part of EVERYTHING you do, then He will guide you because you are working to accomplish His purpose

Consistently Depend on God
To seek 1st His kingdom and righteousness means to turn to God for help first (not friends or books), to fill your thoughts with His desires, to take His character for your pattern, and to serve and obey Him in everything
Matthew 6:33
Obey God
Jesus did not hesitate to demand complete loyalty.The decision to follow Jesus should not be put off, even though other loyalties compete for our attention. Nothing shoudl be placed above complete commitment to living for Him.
